Peec AI review: pricing, user ratings & alternatives
The short answer: Peec AI tracks how often ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and other AI search engines mention your brand, in which position and based on which sources. Users mostly praise the interface: Peec is rated 4.7 out of 5 on G2 and 4.8 on OMR Reviews. Criticism centers on onboarding and the suggested prompts. Peec is an analytics tool: it shows you where you’re missing. Writing the content that changes that is up to your team.

Features
What Peec AI does.
Every day, Peec AI asks AI search engines the questions you set up and analyzes the answers. That produces three core metrics: visibility (in how many answers your brand appears), position (where it appears) and sentiment (how you’re described). Peec also shows which websites the answers use as sources, including the ones that mention your competitors but not you.
The company behind the tool is Peec AI GmbH in Berlin, Germany. By its own account, more than 3,000 brands and agencies use Peec.

Features according to the vendor
- Visibility, position, sentiment and share of voice per prompt, AI search engine, country and competitor
- Source analysis: which domains and URLs AI answers draw on, grouped into categories such as competitors, editorial media or user-generated content
- Suggestions for prompts, topics and competitors
- Gap analysis and recommended actions, plus an agent with ready-made workflows, for example for reports
- Visibility of individual products from your store catalog (Shopify or CSV)
- Analysis of which AI crawlers visit your pages, through a connection to your CDN or server logs
- Looker Studio, API, MCP and CSV export, depending on the plan
By its own account, Peec deliberately doesn’t write content: recommended actions come with a content brief, and your team does the writing. To automate it, you can connect Peec’s data to your own AI assistant, such as Anthropic’s Claude, via MCP; Peec shows example workflows that go as far as publishing to WordPress.

What users like
- Interface and charts: clear, fast and understandable even with lots of data. Almost every review mentions it.
- Sources: users see which pages AI answers draw on and derive priorities for content and PR from that.
- Support and pace: the team responds quickly and builds requested features fast.
What users criticize
- Onboarding: several users would like an easier start and more practical examples.
- Suggested prompts: according to two reviews, they often miss the mark. Good prompts take your own work.
- Data overload: with many prompts and competitors, the dashboards fill up quickly.
- Price: in 2025, users criticized unclear pricing; the prices are now on the website. Some users think Peec is too big for very small budgets.
- Data starts when you set it up. There are no historical values.
In their words
“It doesn’t just tell us whether we’re mentioned, but how, where from and in what context.”
OMR Reviews
“I don’t particularly like the suggested prompts. They’re often way off.”
OMR Reviews
“There are moments when it’s almost too much data.”
OMR Reviews
“Confusing and very unclear as a visibility tool. I don’t get the whole hype”

Who it’s for
Who Peec AI is a good fit for. And who it isn’t.
A good fit for
- Marketing and SEO teams that write content themselves or have an agency, and want to know where they stand in AI answers.
- Teams that compare and report on several AI search engines, countries and competitors.
- Agencies tracking AI visibility for several clients.
Less of a fit for
- Teams without anyone to turn the data into content. Peec shows the gaps and suggests actions with a content brief; according to Peec, your team writes the articles.
- Anyone who only wants to watch two or three questions. A cheaper entry like Otterly Lite or a free check is enough for that.
Claire fits when nobody on your team has time to turn the numbers into articles: Claire tracks ChatGPT and Google AI, writes an article for every gap and publishes it after your approval. In exchange, Claire tracks more narrowly than Peec, two AI search engines instead of up to thirteen.

How we compared
Method and sources, as of Oct 5, 2026
- Compiled on October 5, 2026 by Claire (wordsmattr GmbH, Vienna). We offer an AI visibility tool ourselves and are therefore not neutral. That’s why every number comes with its source and date, and we also say where other tools fit better.
- Ratings: G2, OMR Reviews (a German software review platform), Capterra and Trustpilot. G2 doesn’t allow automated retrieval. Averages and counts there come from the Google search result for the G2 page, for Profound from G2’s own partner page. We haven’t read individual G2 reviews; strengths and weaknesses rely mainly on the texts on OMR Reviews.
- Reviews that clearly describe a different product weren’t counted for strengths and weaknesses. OMR Reviews labels reviews written after an invitation with a voucher or donation. That says nothing about individual texts, but it can raise the average.
- Reddit: direct retrieval is blocked. We only show the snippets Google Search displays and label them as snippets.
- Prices and features: the vendors’ pricing and product pages, retrieved from Europe on the same day. Whether a tool writes content and publishes it to a CMS, we also checked on product, integration and help pages. Some vendors show euros or dollars depending on your location. Prices change; the vendor’s own page is binding.
- Quotes: verbatim and shortened, with role, rating and date, without names. Quotes from German-language reviews are our translation and marked as such.
- Not done: our own hands-on test with a trial account. Claire itself doesn’t have a profile with reviews on these four platforms yet. We update this comparison quarterly.
